SYNTHESIS

SYNTHESIS Describe how new technologies have led to the convergence of traditional and new media. An important development with the growth of digital media has been the move from a traditional communication model of ‘one to many’, characteristic of print and broadcast media, to a ‘peer to peer’ model that facilitates collaborative creation and sharing of content. INFORMATION LITERACY (Laboratory)

"KNOWLEDGE IS POWER"             It is said that KNOWLEDGE is the appropriate collection of information through experience or education, which can be useful in various situations. So it means that KNOWLEDGE truly EMPOWERS us.  When doing things by yourself, just knowing how to do them is power.  Even knowing that you have the ability to say ‘no’ is power. Knowledge is power because we have the capability to do things on our own, and we know how to use and share the information we had gathered to public or to the people who need the information. "IMPORTANCE OF GIVING CREDIT TO THE SOURCE"                  It is important to give credit as a respect  to the source of information we have. We should always know how to give credit because if we don't know how, we might do plagiarism over and over again.

If I were a journalist, my intended audience would be the sports lovers. I’ll be the one writing the articles to enhance my writing ability just to be aware of different sports. This is to inform my readers about the happenings inside the sports world, so they won’t be left behind. I will be writing about the different popular latest sports competitions taking place inside and out of our country and the facts would be based on the game, statistics, quotations from people involved and the scores. I would use play by play to satisfy the curiosity of my readers and for them to envision the exact game with my words. I’d be using the newspaper as a medium for my readers connect with my article because it is the traditional way of reading sports articles.
